X-MEN ORIGINS: Wolverine

Hello again! I know that very few people read my blog... But, I'll fill you in anyways! Yesterday, I saw "X-MEN ORIGINS:Wolverine" and let me give my opinions about it.
Overall, the movie was good. The story was intense and it was cool to see how everything came together before the formation of the X-MEN. The character development was good, as well. Logan, or Wolverine was easy to relate to and feel for. The message that comes from watching the entire movie is great: There is no purification through violence, or violence and revenge aren't the solution. On the other hand, the message came a bit late in the movie, the violence and death was shown too much before the final message was revealed. Wolverine thought to be doing the thing that would solve his problems all throughout the movie: killing bad guys, but he realized later that by killing bad guys, he was becoming the bad guy himself. This movie is definitely a
PG-13 film, what seemed unnecessary: the stabbing, shooting and death were found throughout. But, nothing was too graphic, so I guess it's up for you to decide whether or not you want to put those images in your mind. I thought that in comparison to other movies I've seen, this was pretty good. A 4 star movie! One star taken because of unnecessary violence. Don't let that scare you away! I tend to be pretty critical about violence. The stunts were pretty awesome. The explosions and high speed chases were intense! The movie in itself is not a Christian flick--but those are quite hard to come by!
Thanks for reading!
