X-MEN ORIGINS: Wolverine

Hello again! I know that very few people read my blog... But, I'll fill you in anyways! Yesterday, I saw "X-MEN ORIGINS:Wolverine" and let me give my opinions about it.
Overall, the movie was good. The story was intense and it was cool to see how everything came together before the formation of the X-MEN. The character development was good, as well. Logan, or Wolverine was easy to relate to and feel for. The message that comes from watching the entire movie is great: There is no purification through violence, or violence and revenge aren't the solution. On the other hand, the message came a bit late in the movie, the violence and death was shown too much before the final message was revealed. Wolverine thought to be doing the thing that would solve his problems all throughout the movie: killing bad guys, but he realized later that by killing bad guys, he was becoming the bad guy himself. This movie is definitely a
PG-13 film, what seemed unnecessary: the stabbing, shooting and death were found throughout. But, nothing was too graphic, so I guess it's up for you to decide whether or not you want to put those images in your mind. I thought that in comparison to other movies I've seen, this was pretty good. A 4 star movie! One star taken because of unnecessary violence. Don't let that scare you away! I tend to be pretty critical about violence. The stunts were pretty awesome. The explosions and high speed chases were intense! The movie in itself is not a Christian flick--but those are quite hard to come by!

The Beginning
Hey, welcome to my blog: The Life of Jade. Here you will follow my life (obviously) and truly get to know me, Jade Becker. I gotta say, it's so hard to name your blog, it literally took me fifteen minutes to decide what to name my new blog. So if any of you who read this have an idea for a better name, go ahead and email me your idea. If I end up choosing your idea, you win a "Good Job, you rock!" from me! Woo-Hoo!!
As you may know, my family is going to travel to Kenya for my Dad to teach to kids of missionaries at a school called Rift Valley Academy. These kids come from all over the world with their parents who can't bring them to the places where they are teaching the Gospel. Either the places that the parents go are too dangerous, or they're too far for the kid to get an education. So my family have decided to go and minister to those children and live in Kenya for a year! Awesome! Now I'm totally pumped to be able to go to a new country and glorify the God who died for us! That is pretty incredible! I feel so extraordinary that I can fulfill one of my many purposes that God has for me. And although we're only going to Kenya for one year, it'll be a pretty inspiring experience. Thanks for reading my first post and I'll try to get more on my blog.
